Digital orthodontics enables us to plan and manufacture Aligners completely independent in our own practice. Thus, high external laboratory costs can be avoided, and the economic efficiency of the practice is increased. However, the higher the number of planned Aligners, the later the economic break-even is reached. In this lecture, the complete digital workflow for the Inhouse-Aligner production from scanning to 3D printing will be demonstrated. Possibilities will be shown how the use of auxiliaries or hybrid techniques simplifies Aligner treatments and can reduce the number of splints required. Thus, treatment time can be reduced,  compliance improved, and the predictability of the treatment outcome will significantly increase.
